Sometimes you want to show a word has been crossed out. Completely ~~killed~~ eradicated. You will hardly ever use this tag, but if you ever need to, here it is.

Use the "deleted" tag when you want to <del>cross out</del> stuff.

Use the "deleted" tag when you want to ~~cross out~~ a word, phrase, or other text.

Once upon a time, the command to <strike> the text was also usable to cross stuff out, but this isn't used as much anymore. <del> works just fine.
